For
the past nine years, your local Labour team has been working with residents to
raise money for a Dockers statue. It’s
right by the Excel centre and has already become part of the local
landscape.
The
Docks, and the people who worked on them, are a big part of our local history
and helped make the area what it is today.
We’re proud of our past and are pleased that we’ve got a fitting tribute
to the Dockers.
