Farah Nazeer

Farah was elected as a Councillor in Little Ilford at the 2010 local elections.  She is a public affairs, campaigning, research, and policy professional with over 15 years experience in the voluntary sector;combining solid experience and sound understanding of political processes with a proven history of success in policy and campaign interventions that have had a significant influence on local, national, and international issues.

She has lived in Newham for much of her life and understands the aspirations and challenges of Newham residents. She is active in a number of local groups and chaired the Manor Park Community Forum for three years. She has participated in a number of community activities including walkabouts and fun days.

Farah enjoys helping others and feels that now she is an elected Councillor she can make a positive contribution to her community by working within Local Government structures.
