Kay has been a Labour Councillor in Manor Park since 2006.
During her time as a Councillor, Kay has worked with her Labour colleagues to make Manor Park a better place. For example, they have helped to rejuvinate the Snowshill Estate.
As well as being a ward Councillor in Manor Park, she is the Community Lead Councillor for both the Forest Gate and Manor Park Community Forum areas.
