Forhad was elected as a Councillor for Plaistow North in the
2010 local elections. He has lived in Newham for over 25 years and is
passionate about serving the community and making a real positive difference in
Plaistow North.
Having taught in an inner London secondary school he understands
the importance of delivering high standards of education and currently serves
as a LEA Governor at Upton Cross Primary and Cumberland Secondary School. The majority
of his academic career was spent in Newham, which Forhad then followed on to
read Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College London.
As a qualified project manager he has worked for various private
and public sector organisations. Forhad currently works within the NHS managing
projects to help deliver efficient front line services for a successful central
London hospital.
